    New Jersey Votes 2026: Candidates, Races and What to Know

    New Jersey 2026 Election: Your Guide to the Key Races and Candidates

    New Jersey voters will head to the polls on November 3, 2026, with all 12 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives up for election and a major U.S. Senate race also on the ballot.

    Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters can also use the state’s early voting system or check their assigned polling location through the New Jersey Division of Elections.

    U.S. Senate Race

    The Senate race features incumbent Democrat Cory Booker and Republican Justin Murphy, who won the Republican primary earlier this year.

    Other candidates listed for the race include:

    Cory Booker — Democrat
    Justin Murphy — Republican
    Veronica Fernandez — End the Corruption! Party
    Joanne Kuniansky — Socialist Workers Party

    1st Congressional District

    Donald Norcross — Democrat, incumbent
    Damon Galdo — Republican

    2nd Congressional District

    Jeff Van Drew — Republican, incumbent
    Zack Mullock — Democrat
    Ramon Mora Jr. — Independent

    3rd Congressional District

    Herbert C. Conaway Jr. — Democrat, incumbent
    Michael McGuire — Republican
    Ryan Kelly — Affordability, Accountability, People Party
    Steven Welzer — Green Party

    4th Congressional District

    Chris Smith — Republican, incumbent
    Rachel Peace — Democrat

    5th Congressional District

    Josh Gottheimer — Democrat, incumbent
    Sean Kirrane — Republican
    Adam Rueda — Humane Sustainable Future Party

    6th Congressional District

    Frank Pallone Jr. — Democrat, incumbent
    Hillary Herzig — Republican

    7th Congressional District

    Tom Kean Jr. — Republican, incumbent
    Rebecca Bennett — Democrat
    Seamus O’Toole — Stop Israel’s Genocide Party

    Rebecca Bennett won the Democratic primary to challenge Kean in the district.

    8th Congressional District

    Aristotle Eliopoulos — Independent

    9th Congressional District

    Nellie Pou — Democrat, incumbent
    Rosemary Pino — Republican
    Terrisa Bukovinac — Save Our Babies Party

    10th Congressional District

    LaMonica McIver — Democrat, incumbent
    Carmen Bucco — Republican

    11th Congressional District

    Analilia Mejia — Democrat, incumbent
    Joe Hathaway — Republican
    Alan Bond — Hope for Tomorrow Party
    Vincent Matrisciano — Common Sense Independent Party

    12th Congressional District

    The 12th District is an open seat following the retirement of Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman. The general election candidates are:

    Adam Hamawy — Democrat
    Gregg Mele — Republican
    Andres Jinete — Green Party
    Winston Jordan — Get Money Out

    The official New Jersey candidate list confirms the four candidates for the Nov. 3 election.

    When and Where to Vote

    Election Day: November 3, 2026
    Polling hours: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

    New Jersey voters can also vote early and check their polling location through the New Jersey Division of Elections.

    With all 12 House seats and the Senate seat on the ballot, New Jersey voters will decide who represents the state in Washington for the next congressional term.
