    Tragic Incident at Sandy Hook

A swimmer has died after being pulled from the water at Beach B in Sandy Hook, New Jersey. The incident occurred last week at an unguarded section of the beach, where swimming is prohibited.

    Emergency Teams Respond Quickly

According to officials, National Park Service lifeguards, park rangers and EMTs responded to the emergency on Thursday. They were assisted by Sea Bright Fire Rescue and Hackensack Paramedics, who worked together to rescue the swimmer from the water.

Passerby Tried to Save the Swimmer

Reports indicate that two men had entered the water when one of them disappeared beneath the surface. His companion called for help, prompting a passerby to enter the water and rescue the man. The bystander also performed CPR until emergency responders arrived at the scene.

    Victim Pronounced Dead at Hospital

After being rescued, the swimmer was transported to Monmouth Medical Center for emergency treatment. Despite the efforts of rescuers and medical staff, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

    Identity Yet to Be Released

Authorities have not publicly identified the victim. Officials said the person’s identity had not been released as of Monday morning.

Swimming Not Allowed at Beach B

The National Park Service reminds visitors that Beach B is an unguarded beach where swimming is not permitted. Officials continue to urge beachgoers to follow posted safety rules and avoid entering the water in restricted areas to help prevent similar tragedies.
